To whom it may concern,
I have known Rev Jay and his wife Michele for many years. I found him highly qualified to serve in ministry then and continue to believe that he would be a good fit in any ministry discipline Jay served many years as a Regional Director for the Southern Baptist Messianic Fellowship.
Jay has very strong speaking and teaching skills. I requested he share a Messianic message representing the Theology of the Southern Baptist Messianic Fellowship, SBMF, with the larger Southern Baptist Convention. Jay gave a truly powerful scriptural based teaching on Hebraic Ministry. His ideas on how the Biblical Feasts can be integrated into mainstream Christian doctrine was well received.
He has helped ministers through hard times and also helped ministers start new congregations. Jay has been studying chaplaincy and working on his continuing education. He is compassionate, caring, thoughtful and organized. He understands confidentiality and privileged communications. He is a good listener.
I highly recommend Jay for any chaplaincy or ministry position.

Jay has been a wonderful addition to my Volunteer Hospice Team. He came highly referred to me from friends at my congregation, as well as the Rabbi.

As part of our Senior community relationship activities with Assisted Living Facilities, my team shared a few of the Hebraic Feasts with one of our clients. Jay assisted me and he was able to deliver his PowerPoint section in a very fun and easy to understand way for the Seniors to enjoy and learn.
My Senior Director and Chaplain all said positive things during the interview process after meeting Jay. During his activities with us Jay also got along very well with our local CNAs and the caregivers and family of his assigned patients.

In a short time, he became more than a visitor but part of the patient’s family. He was even asked to officiate one of his patients’ funeral service and to help the family to express themselves at the funeral. He helped one family with their chores and helped another patient get his TV and VCR working. That is his heart – to serve!

May the Lord grant him much favor and blessing in his new career in the Chaplaincy! Jay is under consideration for a position with our organization, as we expand, and budgets are available.
